My Personal Experience:

My husband uses his cell phone for so many things which mainly includes as a GPS. It is very difficult for him to drive while holding his phone, not to mention unsafe so this car vent phone holder is a great idea. This comes in a little box which includes, the holder, 2 different size magnetic counterparts that hold the device securely in place (a larger rectangle piece for bigger devices, a smaller circle for slightly smaller devices), a protective sticker in both sizes, an extra 3M double sided sticker and an easy to follow instruction manual. This is simple to use. Attach the protective sticker of your preference to the back of your device (either outside the device or outside of a very thin case), place the corresponding magnet on top of that protective sticker, clean the area you wish to place the holder, peel off the 3M paper from the bottom of the holder, stick the holder to your dashboard. Now you can combine them together and watch the magic happen. The connection of these 2 items uses a VERY strong magnet to secure your device in place. You can now successfully use your phone/device handsfree, whether to make or receive calls or use your GPS. All without risking your safety or the safety of others. The holder has a decent weight to it with an attached swivel to give you the best view possible. The only issue i have with this is that you cannot use it with a hybrid, dual layer or full shielded case, you need to use it on/with the device directly or with a very lightweight case. Not a big issue just a tiny inconvenience. NOTE: This says car vent but it actually doesn't go INTO the vent itself it essentially fits in between the vents on the dashboard or on the top of your dashboard. This needs a flat surface to be utilized properly. I ultimately suggest placing this on the top of your dashboard due to its 360° angling ability mixed with its weight, but that is truly your choice!
